Going Bold and Courageous: The Origins

Here is to my first post....CHEERS!

I have been choreographing a couple of pieces in the last month....I was remembering my dance education and the following pioneers came to mind.....I was so enthralled to refresh my memory and learn more about them....

THE Pioneer: Mr. Jack Cole: http://www.dancehelp.com/articles/jazz-dance/jack-cole.aspx

Jerome Robbins:  http://jeromerobbins.org/

Mr. Razzle Dazzle,  Bob Fosse:  http://www.fosse.com/  Side note: this was probably one of the most intriguing and interesting dance syles I have ever learned.  I had a fabulous teacher, Ms. Kerry Casserly of Lundstrum Center for the Performing Arts in Minneapolis, MN...she had worked with Bob Fosse in NY.....http://www.lundstrumcenter.org/

Two books come to mind when delving a little deeper with the research...check em' out!:
